COVID-19: What You Need to Know

With all that’s going on right now with coronavirus, I thought I’d focus this week’s newsletter to help spread reliable sources of information.

We all need to be learning as much as we can about the coronavirus and COVID-19.

I’m really surprised at all the different opinions out there, it’s really confusing to know who to trust. You can flip around the channels on TV until you hear the opinion you want to hear, and social media is definitely not helping.

With all that is going on right now with coronavirus, the focus of this week’s newsletter is to help spread reliable sources of information.

We all need to be learning as much as we can about COVID-19 (coronavirus).

I am really surprised at the vast range of opinions out there, it’s really confusing to know who to trust. You can flip around the channels on TV until you hear the opinion you want to hear, and social media is definitely not helping.

I am also surprised at some people’s continued casual approach to the situation. I am not one to panic, however we need to be smart, especially those of us that are working in service-based industries.

The best sources for reliable information are the World Health Organization and the Centre for Disease Control. Everyone owes it to themselves, their clients and especially their families to read up on all these details and keep an eye on evolving news:

WHAT WE ARE DOING AT MOVE FREELY TO KEEP OUR CLIENTS AND STAFF SAFE

  1. We are asking all clients to be responsible and if they have a cough or fever they should NOT come to the clinic. We have this message on our website, social media, text messages and the reception team are reminding all clients of this when making a booking.
  2. We have signs up and are asking all clients to wash their hands as soon as they arrive at the clinic
  3. All touchpoints and surfaces are cleaned on an extremely regular basis.
  4. As always, all the staff are washing their hands at every opportunity and are subject to all of the same rules as clients.
  5. We are continuing to monitor the situation, and we will communicate with you regularly as information becomes available.

Our only GOAL at MOVE FREELY is to ensure the best possible care for all our clients and to keep you as safe as possible.

Stay safe, be smart, and wash your hands!
