Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is similar in many ways to a Swedish massage, however you’ll feel that the applied pressure is deeper at times although of course we can alter this to suit the individual and the presenting complaint. Our therapists aim to release chronic muscle tension with slow strokes, direct pressure as well as friction across and along the fibres of any offending muscle groups. The treatment involves the use of both light and deep strokes, working on soft tissue, muscles, tendons and ligaments to help in the improve and prevent your muscular problems.
Sports massage therapy is excellent for athletes of all kinds, from elite athletes to weekend warriors. The sports massage techniques are specific to the sport the athlete competes in, concentrating on sections of the body that are suffering from over use and that are stressed from repetitive and in many case aggressive sporting movements.
